So… there is still no album, but only cos it’ll be bigger and better than we’d ever imagined! We’re still around the meeting table discussing the new format, but there is some great new material to go on there and some new sounds (???) to incorporate…it’s exciting stuff and will be worth waiting for, honest!

The gig at the King of Diamonds as a 5-piece was a real experience. It was very different playing with bass and drums - a lot louder and requiring more concentration, but IT ROCKED!!! What a sound! We shall be experimenting with various line-ups in the near future – keep your eye on the “Gigs” page for details.

There will soon be a new Eranim “My Space” site linked to this one, for up-to-the-minute news, photos and general chit-chat. Watch out for the new link appearing in the next few weeks!

“Folk at the Dev” – mentioned in the last News Page – has moved venues. It’s now at The Black Horse, Lower Somercotes under the name of “Amber Folk”and runs on alternate Wednesdays. We’re still the resident band and there have been some great acts featured there over the last few weeks. It’s a great place to see up-and-coming talent and also to have a go yourself during the “open-mic” slots, with a full PA and sound-man at your service! Check out www.ripley-folk.biz for details.
